SAPNA Fall SHOWCASE

The Sapna Fall Showcase on Friday night was a culmination of so many different projects we have been working on throughout the beginning of this year (and even a few from last year!)

Huge shoutout to all the kids who put in so much work over the past few months and then the finishing touches this past week. The buzz at the center on Friday was undeniable as kids prepared their shop tables, presentations and even a few last minute masterpieces.

Facilitators had fun transforming the Sapna room into an art gallery and enjoyed it even more when the families started arriving. Seeing faces light up as they noticed their own artwork or a project made by a friend was a highlight!

Another great addition was the newly minted "Sapna Bucks" (just invented a few hours before the showcase!). Watching the kids barter sparked so many new learning opportunities. We plan to build on this by exploring currency from around the world and designing more of our own when we return from break.

Thank you to all the families that came to support our kiddos and all their amazing work. We cannot wait for the next Sapna Family event at the end of the month. On Thursday, October 26th we will be celebrating at the link's Halloween Party with a special Sapna Storytellers performance of beloved children's book Stellaluna, as well as decorating our Día de los Muertos ofrenda in the Sapna room! We hope to see you there <3
