This week, our Adventurers stepped back in time to the days of the Roman Empire — without ever leaving Florida!

It was a day full of history, culture, storytelling, and imagination that left our young explorers inspired and ready to create their own stories.

At the end of April, our Adventurers Club packed their passports (well…figuratively) and journeyed to the Canada Pavilion at EPCOT for another unforgettable stop on our world tour!

Our February EPCOT Excursion transported us to the heart of China, where families gathered ready to embark on an immersive journey.

Animation, but make it stop motion! If you have ever seen a Tim Burton or Wes Anderson movie, you have seen stop motion! This filmmaking technique requires a lot of time and effort, as well as a huge attention to detail. To make this kind of film, directors take hundreds to millions of individual photographs, or “frames,” of a certain setup. Mannequin Challenge! For the first acting class of the new year, Ms. Vanessa demonstrated the importance of remaining still. As important as thoughts, words, and emotions are for acting, so is the ability to not move. The kids were separated into mannequins and shoppers for the exercise. Half of the kids were told to be like a mannequin while the shoppers wandered around unseemingly; the goal was for the mannequin to be able to scare a shopper by getting away with poking the
